Application & Initial Review

The organization submits an application with details regarding its activities, scope, locations, and management system. The certification body reviews the information and defines the audit program.

Stage 1 Audit (Documentation Review)

Auditors review the organization's documented management system, policies, procedures, objectives, and readiness for certification. Any gaps identified must be addressed before proceeding to Stage 2.

Stage 2 Audit (Implementation Assessment)

The audit team evaluates the practical implementation and effectiveness of the management system across the organization. Processes, records, employee awareness, and compliance with ISO requirements are assessed.

Corrective Actions

If non-conformities are identified, the organization implements corrective actions and submits evidence for review. Certification is recommended once all requirements are satisfactorily addressed.

Certification Decision & Certificate Issue

After successful completion of the audit process and review of audit findings, the ISO Certificate is issued. The certificate remains valid for three years, subject to successful surveillance audits.
